Maarianrinteet ski resort fits for a family and more experienced skiers and snowboarders. It is located in Eastern Finland, 450 km from Helsinki, 60km from Joensuu and 90km from Kuopio.
An exceptionally big area of slopes consists 8 different degrees of slope , 5 of them are lighted. The slopes includes for example: snowpark with unique snagrails, slopestyle line, powderslope, off-side slope, completely newly shaped hill for children + 4 lifts.
Slopes are rated from green to black. The longest slope is 1050m and 140m in height.
Snowpark offers pressboxes, rails and jumps but in this season unique snagrail is also found from our snowpark.
Black profile slope serves a great opportunity for some powder and free-skiing. For the high-skilled skiers there is also cleared forest next to the powderslope.
There is a well-equipped rental/skishop at the down-station, as well as our restaurant, where you can find snacks and drinks, even for a larger need. There is also 2 grill-cottages, other one is near the down-station and the other is top of the slopes with spectacular view.
We also rent high-quality cottages and have caravan area. Those can be found only from finnish sites.
There is also skiing trails for cross-country and equipments for that can be found from rental/skishop.
Maarianrinteet serves a stopping spot for snowmobilers and place for refueling.
